Sojourn: Where It All Began
Origins of Sojourn Arts & Apparel
Sojourn Arts was born from the deep connection I share with my grandfather’s home, "The Captain's Sojourn," named in honor of his father's service in the British Indian Army during WWII. Every summer I spent there, learning to draw from my grandfather, became a sanctuary for me—a place where I could escape the stresses of life. Art became my personal sojourn, a peaceful retreat where I could pause and connect with those who inspire me. Today, Sojourn Arts’ paintings grace homes worldwide, with recognition from icons like Sidhu Moosewala, Diljit Dosanjh, Rupi Kaur, AP Dhillon, Jagmeet Singh, and more. Our work has been featured in large-scale campaigns by organizations such as The California Endowment and the Golden State Warriors (NBA).
Building on this foundation, Sojourn Apparel launched in November 2023 as a Sikh-owned luxury streetwear brand. It celebrates the legacies of inspirational figures, empowering wearers with stories from Sikh history, Punjabi culture, and global communities. Each piece, designed by artist and founder Armaan Bhattal, features handmade art crafted with intricate detail and manufactured with the highest quality fabrics. Sojourn Apparel has been embraced by people across the USA, Canada, and Europe, and worn by renowned figures in music videos and on professional stages. We're excited to welcome you to the Sojourn Club, where fashion meets meaningful storytelling.
