There are not enough words in all languages combined to adequately describe the pain inflicted upon the Sikhs from the inhumane attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib (The Golden Temple) in June, 1984, where thousands of worshipers were paying their respect for the martyrdom day of Guru Arjan Dev Ji. It was a cowardly effort to instill fear amongst a fearless kaum, to destroy our powerful spiritual history, literature, and holiest shrine. There can be no bullets or tanks, media blackouts, or unjust genocides that can erase a religion meant to protect everyone. May there be peace, unity, and above all, justice. Justice for those who died innocently, the great saint soldiers who defended our kaum till their last breath, and those who carried out this vicious attack. -Sarbat da bhalaa/Blessings for all.
