Upon sharing my painting tribute for such a great human being, several people reached out to buy the painting or create t-shirts using the artwork including California Police Officer Jaskirat Singh and New York firefighter Manprit Singh. They have helped me organize this initiative amongst their peers but we're opening these designs to everyone interested. Although the PAINTING is NOT FOR SALE, these t-shirts have been designed with the utmost respect and care, for everyone to buy, wear in solidarity and memory, and support the Dhaliwal family. 100% of the proceeds will go to his family. I was at work when the fateful news of the senseless killing of Deputy Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal broke the hearts of a massive community inclusive of Sikhs and non-Sikhs worldwide. Shocked and devastated by this tremendous loss, I did not have to think long for how to best honor one of the most distantly influential people in my life. As an artist driven by pure inspiration, a painting that paid homage to what Deputy Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal brilliantly represented himself became an immediate undertaking for me.
